Joshua has over six years strategic communications experience working with a variety of organizations from political action committees to startup businesses. Before joining Jones Public Relations, Joshua served as an Associate with a political consulting firm specializing in congressional and state legislative races across the country. Additionally, Joshua has experience working for non-profits and advocacy organizations ranging from local to national in their efforts. Experience includes: campaign management, grass roots/events management, communications strategy, media relations and training, direct-mail production and fundraising. Additionally, Joshua previously served as the Legislative and Political Assistant to the Kansas Speaker of the House of Representatives. During his time in the Kansas Statehouse, he served as the chief liaison to the House Republican Caucus and represented the speaker across the state promoting the House Republican Agenda. Joshua was also a part of the communications team of the Speaker and Republican Caucus. Joshua graduated from Westminster College in Fulton, Missouri where he was Student Body President. While an undergraduate, he served three high-level temporary assignments at the White House, Federal Communications Commission, and Department of Labor. |
