Taylor has experience in social media efforts, event planning and broadcast media.

She earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Mass Communication-Public Relations from Oklahoma Christian University. She served as lead anchor on Oklahoma Christian's statwide weekly newscast, where she also served as entertainment editor and promotions manager.

Taylor was involved in Oklahoma Christian's social service club Gamma Rho, having served as social service director and student director of the annual Mike McDonald 5k Eagle Run.
